Dr. Robyn Joseph is a
board certified podiatrist who has been in private practice for
over 20 years. She earned her undergraduate B.A. in Biology at
S.U.N.Y. Binghamton. Her post graduate training was completed at
Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Joseph completed
an intensive 2-year surgical residency program in 1988, at
Doctor’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. This program trained Dr.
Joseph in the most advanced foot and ankle reconstructive
techniques.
Dr. Joseph specializes in Podiatric
Surgery and Sports Medicine but her practice focuses on treating
and resolving a wide spectrum of foot and ankle conditions using
conservative and/or surgical procedures. She enjoys the full
scope of Podiatric medicine, including but not limited to:
pediatric foot disorders, diabetes foot health management and
infection control, sports medicine and customized orthotic
manufacturing, geriatric conditions, and reconstructive foot
surgery such as bunions and hammertoes.
Dr. Joseph truly cares for her patients
and it shows. She is known for her wonderful bedside manner and
spends quality time with each patient, listening to and
educating them on the cause, treatment, and preventive therapies
of their condition. She also enjoys teaching and mentoring the
next generation of podiatric surgeons by involving herself with
the residency programs at Long Island Jewish Hospital and North
Shore University Hospital Manhasset.
She is an active member of many
professional groups including the American College of Foot and
Ankle Surgeons, American Board of Podiatric Surgery, American
Podiatric Medical Association, the New York Podiatric Medical
Association, Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. In his
personal time, Dr. Joseph enjoys cooking and entertaining,
gardening, fitness training, reading and quiet times at home
with her husband and son.
